The Simple Gifts Fund provides exciting grant opportunities for teachers in eastern North Carolina. There are two grant programs available for educators. The $10,000 Teacher Fellowship Program supports summer projects that are personally renewing and intellectually revitalizing to individual teachers and groups. The Love of Learning Grant Program awards grants for the advancement of both educators and their students in order to enable teachers to provide illuminating programs and opportunities for students in the classroom, after school, in the summer, or on weekends. Through these grants, The Simple Gifts Fund seeks to assist teachers who recognize the value of inquiry, who understand the power of knowledge, and who appreciate the importance of inspiring excellence in their students.
